Introduction

Steamtools is a FREE & OpenSource tool to get the license to games you already own. Since you should have the right to own the license if not the game.

Unlock already owned games on other devices for free (Steam).
Why pay 2 times if you already had bought the license?

Requirements

  • Rust Compiler V1.91.1 or newer (for generating .lua) Download
  • Steam

Note

The Steam installation on linux should be installed with the terminal NO flatpak, app store. Or else it wont work.

How it works

Steamtools uses the OpenSource repo: OpenSteamTool

On Windows Steamtools uses the proxy dll named: xinput1_4.dll because once steam starts it first begins searching for it in the cwd.

On Linux its diffrent.
The frontend/GUI stay the same but for the backend I switched to luatools.
